Each visit is tagged from the User-Agent and request headers. SEO tools, search crawlers, uptime monitors, social crawlers, and generic scrapers are listed here.
Visits from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc. are stored in the database as AI traffic (platform name) and appear as “Human visit from AI assistant” when it is a normal browser session, not an automated crawler.
Automated AI crawlers (e.g. GPTBot, indexing bots) appear under “AI crawler / indexer” here, and summarized under Acquisitions → Crawlers & bots.
True VPN detection needs an IP reputation service. “Human (proxy chain hint)” only reflects X-Forwarded-For / Via headers (often CDNs).
